Burqaa, the leading Oromo
magazine seeks motivated and
highly organized interns to
assist in our publication,
marketing and distribution
efforts.
Interns will have an opportunity
to incorporate academic and life
experiences in expanding
Burqaa’s subscription base.
Interns will gain on-the-job
training in marketing, writing,
designing and distributing an
international publication. They
will participate and take
leadership roles in key meetings
with editors, and contribute to
the overall content and delivery
of Burqaa.
This is an exciting opportunity
to be part of a growing
initiative, with the possibility
to transform the way information
in Afaan-Oromoo is received and
perceived.
Qualified candidates must be a
self-directed learners who need
little supervision, inters must
be detail oriented, possess
excellent writing skills, and be
proficient in Windows and MS
Office applications.
